👋 Hi folks!
This week felt like another step towards Microsoft’s vision for AI at work. While there wasn’t a single headline-grabbing launch, there were plenty of signals pointing to where things are heading next: more capable AI agents, deeper developer tooling, and a growing focus on organisational knowledge and context.
Developers had a particularly busy week, with new GitHub Copilot capabilities, deeper integrations with Microsoft Teams, and the rollout of Copilot Code in Frontier. Meanwhile, a recurring theme across several announcements was AI that understands the context of your work, your data, and your business, hinting at where Microsoft’s next wave of innovation is heading.
Let’s dive in.

💭 Joanne’s Corner
I spent some time this week testing the new Copilot experiences in OneDrive.
My takeaway? The interesting part isn’t the AI itself. It’s that Microsoft is bringing the AI closer to where the work already happens.
That might sound obvious, but reducing clicks, context-switching, and tab-hopping is what drives adoption. The less people have to think about using AI, the more likely they are to actually use it.
